New To Minor Hockey and Do Not Have an HCR # Yet
How to Create an HCR Number
- Go to the Hockey Canada Registry Portal
- Visit your local hockey association’s registration page or go directly to the Hockey Canada Spordle My Account site: https://myaccount.spordle.com
- Create a New Account (if you don’t have one)
- Enter your name, email, and password.
- Verify your email address through the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
- Use your email and password to sign in.
- From your dashboard, select Members or Link a Member.
- Choose Register a New Participant if the person has never been registered with Hockey Canada before.
- Enter Personal Information
- Fill in full legal name, date of birth, gender, and address.
- Provide parent/guardian details if registering a minor.
- Submit and Generate HCR Number
- Once you complete the form, the system will create a unique HCR ID for that player/coach/official.
- This number will now be linked to their profile for all future registrations.
- You can find it anytime in your Member Profile under your Spordle account.
- Keep it safe — it’s used for all Hockey Canada registrations, rosters, and transfers.
✅ Tip: If you’ve played or coached before, you may already have an HCR number. In that case, use the Search for Existing Member option to avoid creating duplicates.
