The following organizations offer financial assistance for youth hockey:
KidSport provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids ages 5-18 years in Meadow Lake can play a season of sport. The Meadow Lake chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $750 per child/year, for kids who live in Meadow Lake. If you live outside of Meadow Lake please contact the Provincial Office to find your nearest chapter, or to get support through the Provincial Fund.
Jumpstart helps kids between the ages of 4 to 18 by assisting with the costs associated with registration, equipment, and/or transportation for sports and physical activity programming. 100% of all donations go directly to helping kids play.
The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund provides financial support to Canadian youth who want to play hockey and break barriers. The fund will provide up to $500 per youth player in registration fee subsidies for financially-qualified applicants registered with a sanctioned Hockey Canada association. Canadians can also make a donation to the Assist Fund to support the game in their community. 100% of all donations will go to supporting access to hockey.
